Congrats to Pat for scoring a perfect score. He sucks at the movie game but he rocks the house at trivia. Pat should be on Jeopardy.

Candice Bergen, who provided the voice for the SAL 9000 computer. The name Mallsnerd was created by combining the surname of her then-husband, director Louis Malle, with that of Mortimer Snerd, one of the puppets of her ventriloquist father, Edgar Bergen.

5) What was the original name of the Web search engine known today as Google? (5 points)

BackRub, in 1996. The name was based on the search engine's unique ability to analyze the "back links" pointing to a given website.

I used to have a long time boss who gave us trivia tests for years. But still, I've been very lucky so far this go around. I've made a few wild guesses that panned out...
