Top Ten Movie Blogfest

I was there when Alex did his dirty dozen movie blogfest. Those were good times. Now I am suppose to cut down my list by two movies?!?!?!? I didn't think I was going to be able to cope with the loss but I received some counseling for a month and I think I am finally well again. It is hard enough to make a top ten of my favorite movies so there is no order to my list. I did make some changes from the old dirty dozen list.

Fight Club - The book is awesome too.

The Dark Knight - Poor Heath Ledger.

Memento - Somebody took my DVD and I want it back.

Pulp Fiction - Quentin, you know how to make a good flick.

Rounders - Maybe if I watch it enough I can become a poker champ too.

Finding Nemo - I am still waiting on the sequel: Finding Dori.

Wedding Crashers - I'm upset no one crashed my wedding.

Donnie Darko - I love the song 'Mad World' from the soundtrack. I got goosebumps listening to it.

Empire Records - "But it's Rex Manning day."

Almost Famous - Every time I watch it I want to buy a whole bunch of classic rock songs and albums.

There are so many films that I can easily interchange with any of these. These are the ones I thought of first. Head over to our fearless leader, Alex,  to join in on the fun. As a side note, my number on the link list is 69, I thought that was interesting. And tomorrow is The Final Battle of the Fast Food Mascots where The Chick-Fil-A Cow throws down with Little Caesar's 'Pizza, Pizza' Guy. Be there or be... not there, I guess.

Some great flicks, Finding Nemo was a surprise to your list though. Seems the oddball out.

That's not a bad list. Two or three of those films would also make my top ten. I feel compelled to make my own list, in no particular order:

Seven
Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Alien
Battle Royale
The Ring
American Psycho
Shaun Of The Dead
Kill Bill
WALL-E

As you can see, other than WALL-E I'm a rather bloodthirsty person.

I can easily agree with Dark Knight, Donnie Darko, and Fight Club. They're definitely some of my favourite movies.

Agree with many of those too, not sure I'd put Memento there, but it was good.

Memento is the ultimate mind____ film.
Now I want to go back and see what you changed from three years ago.
Thanks for participating in my blogfest!

Hey you're not suppose to talk about Fight Club

HaHa the only movies I saw on your list were Pulp Fiction and Finding Nemo. Pulp Fiction certainly leaves a lasting impression and I liked it because it was Travolta's comeback.

Awesome list. Definitely agree with Donnie Darko, Fight Club, and Memento.

I'm mildly obsessed with Edward Norton. He was brilliant in Fight Club. Then again, I think he's brilliant in everything he's been in, even The Hulk, lol.

Finding Nemo was on my list, too! And like you, I'm still waiting on Finding Nemo Part 2

Shh! We're not supposed to talk about Fight Club, remember? Kidding, but I'm not kidding about how epic this list is. :)

I agree with you on Fight Club, what a great movie that is!

I'm also right there with you about Tarantino. There's just something about his movies that I love. They all seem to connect at the end and the humor is so darkly funny. Like True Romance.

Tarantino is great-warped but great! Memento-excellent. Fight Club-gotta love Meatloaf in this role and what an ending! Finding Nemo-fun movie-I have 1 film in the 2000's and one from 1987 the rest....before I was alive but still great but then again I am slightly nerdy. hmmmm Just thinking of that fish played by Ellen Degeneres-Maybe she needs tatoos to remember things like Memento:)

Oh yeah, I'm liking your movie list! And speaking of "69", in my case it was more like "34 1/2" and certainly wasn't my um equatorial region...

I must now go for a Wendy's hot and juicy!

I like most of your list and REALLY like some of them. I have no idea how many times I've seen Pulp Fiction.

Donnie Darko was such a scary awesome movie=)

Good call on Memento and Fight Club. And the Donnie Darko soundtrack is amazing.

Your list is pretty damn good. I have been meaning to watch Memento and now I have to put it on top of the pile...I have seen it listed on several sites. Fight Club is one of the most brilliant movies ever made. Pitt, Norton, and Carter were extraordinary in their roles.

Donnie Darko was so good I could not wait to see S. Darko...not as good.

Hmmm... Unrelated comment, Avast seems to think your blog is a threat to my computer for some reason.

Yeah, the Dark Knight always makes me sad because of Heath :( RIP.

Finding Nemo was very cute. :) I have only seen it once though! Love Wedding Crashers, oh the hilarity. Love the part where he's got that book, "Don't Jump, it's not that bad" or whatever. Donnie Darko is a classic too, though very eerie.

Aaand I could go on re: other great picks in your list but I won't. :P
