Worst Movies Ever Blogfest

Alex J. Cavanaugh is hosting yet another blogfest. I love it when the blogfest involves movies. This one was probably harder to make compared to the favorite movies blogfest. I try to stay clear of movies that I think are potentially going to be bad or I just plain forget about the bad ones. I am sure there are lots of movies I forgot about. These are the ones that popped into my head so that is what I am using. I will definitely see films I missed on other blogs. And not in a specific order, here is my list.

Freddy Got Fingered - I got this movie for Christmas one year from my mom for whatever reason. I watched it and immediately sold it to a store in the mall for $3.

Balls of Fury - I thought this movie would be similar to Dodgeball and have some humor in it but I don't think I laughed once. I have less respect for Christopher Walken and Robert Patrick now.

S. Darko - This is probably the worst sequel coming from a great movie I have ever seen. I love Donnie Darko but this sequel was worst than Casey Anthony's verdict.

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer - This would be the straight to video third installment of the I Know What You Did Last Summer series. I am going to tell you who the killer is so you don't watch it. SPOILER ALERT!! The killer is the ghost of the original killer. Very terrible.

Charlies Angels: Full Throttle - I liked the first one because it was hot girls kicking ass but I couldn't even watch this whole movie. Did they win?

Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny
- I love the band, I think they are hilarious but something went horribly wrong when making this flick. Why Jack Black, why?

Mission: Impossible 2 - As a stand alone movie this would probably be okay but when compared to the 1st and 3rd films it is pretty bad.

Lost in Space - Matt Le Blanc should stick to 90's sitcoms. Danger, Gary Oldman, Danger!!

Cabin Fever -
Mmm flesh eating virus. Why wasn't Ben Savage co-starring with Rider Strong. I would of enjoyed the movie better.

DreamCatcher - I was very excited to see this movie when it came out. Then I saw it when it came out on DVD and immediately regretted my decision. Stephen King tricked me. I sent him a letter requesting a refund for my ticket. I never got a response.

Make sure you head over to Alex's blog to join in the fun and check out the other participants.

I didn't see any of the ones on your list, but it's hard for me to find movies that I don't think are waste of time. I'm picky.

I liked Freddy Got Fingered. But it was pretty messed up.

The killer's the ghost of the original killer? Good grief. As if the first two weren't bad enough.

Movies-Right up my alley! I tend to stay aware from hooro flicks since most involve agroup of teens and you know the first to get killed are the couple making out, then goes the the guy no one remembers followed by the geek and the token African American or Asian. Sometimes the goofy fun side-kick dies and when he does, I am usually grateful. The 2 left are usually the wholesome dude and the girl who seems to have some brains but always falls short when she is running away in the middle on a road and always falls, while screaming. MI2 does suck and I was laughing throughout. Dreamcatcher did sound good and went all wrong. My list? Ine The Bedroom-Won all those awards and it was F&*^% boring! Who wants to watch Sissy Spacek smoke a cigarette and Tom Wilkenson cut a hedge all the time. Oh yeah Atonement-Such a great story but they should atone for the sins of this boring flick. That horro film with Rene Zwellager-I can't even recall the name of it-Stay Away! Now Attack of the Killer Shrews-Yup I even own it because it is so bad...same with Plan 9 From Outer Space and Santa Claus Meets the Martians (or something like that)-It was Pia Zadora's film highlight. The altime worst flick that won an oscar for best picture...The Greatest Show On Earth. Now it's not bad...not great but I can watch it especially since it has James Stewart in the film but when you realize it won against High Noon and The Quiet Man then you say WTF???

All these movie haters today! "Balls of Fury" is funny for middle-of-the-night-can't-sleep time. And I think I'm about the only one who liked "Lost in Space," which I did specifically because it was such a departure from the show.

Donnie Darko was a good movie until the end - when it became a great movie! I'll avoid the sequel though.
Thanks for participating in the blogfest!

Great list! Balls of Fury disappointed me too--I love Christopher Walken and just, oh, I can't even speak. Did not realize Donnie Darko had a sequel. Glad about that now.

Great list. They all sucked! I concur.

Hmm, I haven't heard of a few of these movies. Thanks for the warning list, though! Isn't this a fun blogfest? ;)

Quite a few people are giving Freddy Got Fingered the Finger. I think I'll avoid that movie like zuchini-flavored cottage cheese and stick to watching old clips on Youtube of sweet ladies demanding to know where the beef is.

tenacious d was very bad and I was very disappointed.

Every one of them belongs on a "worst" list. Like you I was really bummed about Dreamcatcher. Another King masterpiece gone to crap when it hits the screen.

balls of fury, was what i thought it was going to be... i laughed a little. sDarko was a why did they need to ruin the mystic the first one offered. pick of destiny, my favorite part playing against david grohl [foo fighters] as the Beelzeboss... lost in space was bad, but not as bad as seems...
:)

Dreamcatcher is the only one on your list that I had the misfortune to see. I, too, was so looking forward to that movie - and was hugely disappointed by it. More like Nightmare Festering.

Great pics. I've seen two CA - full throttle and MI. They were meh.

I've never heard of any of these, except the first, because it's on several other lists!

Yep, Freddy Got fingered is on my list too blah

I have only seen MI2 and S. Darko on your list. I loved all the MI movies and S. Darko was for sure a let down after D. Darko but I still enjoyed. I would watch anything with Chris Walken just 'cause. And I have one of the Charlie's Angels movies so I'll have to dig it out and see which one, since I haven't watched it yet.

I actually saw "The Love Guru" because I try to see any movie that has anything to do with hockey. Easily the worst movie I've ever seen. Mike Myers just isn't funny anymore... and I'm not sure he ever was.

I was not a fan of Donnie Darko (shoot me, I'm the odd one out) so I passed on S. Darko. Sounds like I did the right thing if you all didn't like it at all! Freddy is on my list, though! The TOP of it!

Dude! Cruise is having an AWESOME hair day throughout the entire film!!!

I've only seen one or two of them, and it was long enough ago that I don't remember anything about them. So sounds like I'm not missing out on anything.

Really? Stephen King disappointed and didn't refund your ticket? Shame. I didn't see any of those, but I used to hate playing dodgeball.
