Humperdink

So getting back into blogging is harder than I thought. All the creative juices I had months ago have apparently dried up. I'm debating on whether to get some on the black market or not. I know a guy who knows a guy who  works with a guy that can get me the good stuff. I have all these drafts, each with a great topic but I just look at them and nothing springs to mind. I don't think I have writer's block, I think I have been just been away too long. A lot of my ideas were in my head and I didn't write them down and now they might be lost forever. I have only been able to muster up one measly post since we began the new year. I am behind on my blog goals. There has to be some inspiration in here somewhere, under the bed perhaps? Nope, only missing socks and half eaten crackers. Actually there are only socks under there now, a little stale but still edible. I feel like I'm disappointing everyone in the blogosphere. I said I was back and I haven't done anything to prove it. Time to get back to the drawing board! Dammit, that's my problem, I was using a drawing board and not a computer. No time to look at porn, I got work to do.

P.S. I came up with the title of this post afterwards and it was the first word that came to mind. I have no idea where it came from.

Go people-watch. Observational humor will get your blood flowing, and it'll avalanche from there.

I read the title and thought you were going to do a Princess Bride spoof. That's where Humperdink takes me I guess. Anyway...the inspiration will come back but just writing...anything at all...will help it along the way. Just start and stuff will start to flow more freely.

I actually saw a post of yours pop up on the dashboard a while back, only to say page not found when I clicked on it. You must have changed your mind? Good luck finding inspiration. If you find some, send it my way!

I sometimes wish I could get away from blogging for a bit but like you I have too many things that I think are important and the world must know what I think about everything my hummingbird like brain comes across in a day. Quality is better than quantity anytime.

I know what you mean, I feel that when I stop blogging (which I sometimes have to do) then everyone will move along and forget me. And I think up a great idea for a post but it never ends up as good as I thought it would. Must be a human thing. Nice to see you back.

Humperdink is a fun word. Don't stress so much or it really won't help at all.

I've missed you too, my friend. Once it kicks in, and it will kick in, you'll be good to blog for another 25 years or so.

Hey is the guy who knows the guy who knows the guy with some good juice single? Can you give me the info on the guy who knows the guy who knows him?

No, sounds like you still have it and just don't realize it.
And you could do a whole series of Princess Bride posts. Although that really is the best name of the bunch.

Maybe your muse ran off with some other writer and doesn't seem to want you back. It may be time for you to find a new muse.

I am sounding geeky..Oh wait or a name for any Austin Powers gal... Why not try your questions again--get the juices flowing...again no refernece to your title name

Lol, nice post...I can empathize with your blogging dilemma. I have only been blogging for a couple of months and already find it difficult to think up new topics on some days. :-)
